The Kennels of Greyden Farms are now settled in the beautiful countryside of South Luther – on the border of Wellington North and Dufferin County, in the Town of Grand Valley, Ontario.
We live on a designated heritage family farm, in a restored brick farmhouse on 100 acres, so our Labradors are fortunate enough to enjoy lots of space in which to run and play. Our newly built facility now houses all of our dogs in comfort, and we have finally moved and settled in, and very proud of our new home.
Most importantly, all of our dogs are first and foremost family pets, they are fit and healthy and very much part of our family life.
All our breeding stock are clear for hip and elbow dysplasia (OFA), PRA tested normal for hereditary eye problems as well as Optigen tested and certified. All of our puppies are home-raised and well socialized in a farm environment. Inside our home. We do not have kennels/runs and penned up dogs, we are not a puppy mill. We raise healthy happy wonderful puppies, in our nursery, right in our home. Our puppies are vaccinated, microchipped, and de-wormed before they leave us, and CKC REGISTERED, with our lifetime health guarantee. We Aptitude test all of our puppies, and we will guide you in your selection of a puppy. Each new puppy goes home with a new puppy owner kit.
The majority of good breeders today show a great willingness to test their puppies, and we are interested in the results. Testing our puppies shows the inherited behaviours of our breeding stock, valuable information for future breeding. Most importantly the results make it easier for us to place the right puppy into the right home where people will be happy with the selection.
Whatever you do, don’t try to pick a puppy by having the entire litter together – you will not be able to pick the right one for you. Always interact with a puppy individually, away from its littermates. We will show you how.
